SASLO’s technology and telecoms practice advises our telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) clients on issues related to the commercial, transactional, technical, legal and regulatory issues associated with providing telecommunications services and products throughout the IT-communications-media spectrum.  These include regulatory counselling, business transactions, litigation, corporate transactions, distribution, intellectual property, and tax planning.  SASLO had the privilege of contributing to the Oman chapter of The Technology, Media and Telecommunications Review – 2nd Edition by Latham & Watkins LLP which gives detailed overview of the telecommunication industry in Oman, its regulations relating to transfers and assignment, its restriction on provision of services, security provisions, telecommunication and internet access, internet protocol regulation, media and its regulations.
